Access updated claims and record information

131108editorialUpdated renewal records are available for Members and their brokers online. The Underwriting Online section of the Club website provides a combination of flexible and immediate online services. It enables Members to review in detail all the information relevant to the renewal of their entry with the Club.

Members can access copies of their Loss Record from the Underwriting Reports area.

Records cut-off at 20 October, as well as an updated loss record where there have been subsequent claims or premium movements, are available now. These can be interrogated for claims details and exported to a spreadsheet for use in Member’s own management systems.

All of these documents can be compiled as "pdf" files which can be read within Adobe Acrobat on screen, printed in your office, saved to your own computer or copied to other colleagues.

The Club no longer automatically mails paper copies of renewal loss records. If Members encounter difficulties with this arrangement, please advise Sue Jamieson at the underwriting department - e-mail: underwriting.ukclub@thomasmiller.com.

Underwriting Online is accessible with your existing Members Area username and password. If you have not registered as a user of the Members Area a short illustrated guide on how to register can be viewed here .

Anyone experiencing difficulty registering for or accessing the UK Club's online services should contact Nick Whitear (tel: +44 20 7204 2334) or nick.whitear@thomasmiller.com or Jenny Whitehead (tel: +44 20 7204 2053) or jenny.whitehead@thomasmiller.com
Other related services in Underwriting Online include - Fleet List: provides key details of each ship including terms of entry, assureds and premium; Policy Documentation: copies of all certificates, debit notes, blue cards and letters of undertaking; and Underwriting Forms: various Club application and declaration forms.

This service complements the Club's ClaimsTrac service which provides analysis and reporting on a Member's claims history.
