Daniel joined Thomas Miller in 1992, prior to which he spent four years as a practising solicitor in New Zealand. Having spent five years in Greece as Area Director he returned to London in January 2003 to take up the position of Senior Claims Director for Thomas Miller Defence. In that capacity he is responsible for all FDD claims and claims service issues. |

| | Marc Jackson (MRJ)
Marc spent four years at the Bar and a further two years handling Defence cases with another P&I Club. He joined Thomas Miller in 1998 and deals with both P&I and Defence matters. |

| | Neil Staff (NS)
Neil is the Manager's Defence Policy Underwriter responsible for the implementation of the Club's Underwriting Policy Guidelines which are determined by the Board. Neil is also responsible for the development of the P&I and Defence Clubs' underwriting IT systems. Neil joined Thomas Miller in 1978 and has had P&I and Defence underwriting experience. |

Stuart joined Millers in 1988 from the shipping industry where he spent ten years in ship operations, claims and chartering for shipowners and charterers. Since joining Millers, he has dealt with P&I and Defence matters for the Club's Members based in the Soviet Union and Europe, specialising in Greece. He has particular responsibility for the Club's Rules. |

Paul is a qualified solicitor and practised at a leading shipping law firm for three years. He spent five years with another P&I Club before joining Thomas Miller in 2000 where he has specialised in advising the Club's Greek Members. Paul handles both P&I and Defence matters. |

| | Alan Mackinnon (AM)
Alan joined Thomas Miller in August 2005 after five years as a solicitor with a leading firm of maritime lawyers in London. He joined L7 as a senior claims executive, dealing with a mixture of P&I and Defence cases, primarily for the Club's German and Norwegian members. |

| | Susanne Murphy (SLM)
Following a degree in marine geography and a masters degree in marine law Susanne joined Thomas Miller in 1995. She currently deals mainly with claims for the Club's Members based in Germany. |

| | Paul Sessions (PMS)
Paul is a barrister with a master's degree in maritime law. Before joining Thomas Miller in 1996, Paul spent five years working with Greek and Norwegian shipowners. Paul is a Director of Thomas Miller Defence and is the Area Director for Japan. |

| | Richard Bettinson (RB)
Richard joined Thomas Miller in 2002 and assumed responsibility for the UK Defence Club's finances in 2005. He is a qualified accountant and Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. He has 22 years' experience in the London insurance market, mostly spent in the Lloyd's market. |

After studying law Nigel joined Thomas Miller in 1978 and worked for five years on people claims. He manages the Underwriting Department while also being the senior underwriter for Japan, Germany, France, Middle East and South Africa. |
