Europe - London L3 and L5

The L3/L5 Area Group is responsible for services to Members based in the United Kingdom, and East and West Africa and for services to Members in the cruise and ferry and offshore industry. They have responsibility for the Club's Occupational Disease claims, the Crew Fitness Project and Special Risks. The Group also provides people claims services for the members of the other Area Groups.

 John Turner (JCT)
John worked for a ship agent, a shipowner and as Club correspondent in Ireland before joining Thomas Miller in 1987. He is a personal injury specialist and managed Area Group L5 from 1997 to 2001. He currently leads the Cruise & Ferry Team.

 Martin Turner (MRT)
Martin joined Thomas Miller in 1993 having been a claims executive with another P&I club in London for nine years. He has a degree in Maritime Geography. Martin's responsibilities include co-ordinating the Club's response to occupational disease claims.
 Victoria Brown (VB)
Victoria is a qualified solicitor and practised at a City law firm for 8 years. She joined Thomas Miller in 2008 and specialises in handling personal injury claims.
 Ursula Elsden (UME)
Ursula joined Thomas Miller in 1988, having worked for two other London-based P&I Clubs and a firm of brokers. Ursula is on the Cruise & Ferry Team and speaks fluent German.
 Jack Hatcher (JH)
Jack joined the Thomas Miller in 2006 after having worked aboard cruise ships as a Deck Officer. In addition to his navigational qualifications, Jack has a degree in Shipping Operations.

 Genevieve Holloway (GH)
Genevieve joined Thomas Miller in 2007 after having worked as a Deck Officer in the Merchant Navy, serving on cruise ships. Genevieve also has a BSc (Hons) degree in Merchant Ship Operations.
 Tony Nicholson (TAN)
Tony joined Thomas Miller in April 2004 from another London based P&I Club whom he represented on the International Group Personal Injury Forum. Tony has 14 years experience in handling a wide variety of people claims and immigration problems.
 Lynne Savignon (LSS)
Lynne joined Thomas Miller in 1986 having previously worked for a firm of brokers. She has handled people claims since 1995 and is also a senior claims supervisor.
 Yvonne Vail (YJV)
Yvonne joined Thomas Miller in 1986 and has worked in the People Claims Syndicate since 1990. She now specialises in handling occupational disease claims.
