| | Paul Sessions (PMS) Paul is a barrister with a master's degree in maritime law. Before joining Thomas Miller in 1996, Paul spent five years working with Greek and Norwegian shipowners. Paul is a Director of Thomas Miller Defence and is the Area Director for Japan. |

| | James Baker (JAB) James is a master mariner with experience in liner operations, bulk carriers, container ships and ro-ro vessels. He spent some time managing a surveying company in Japan, after which he joined Thomas Miller in 1984. James has specialised experience of dealing with major oil pollution claims. He recently qualified as a mediator and is closely involved with members in Russia, the Ukraine and most recently Japan. |

| | Caroline Coutts (CXC) Caroline joined Thomas Miller in 1999 and is now a full time claims handler for the Club's Members in Japan. Caroline also manages and is responsible for the Club's Logistics Claims Handling System and the performance of the Regional Claims Centres. |

| | Debbie Wood (DW) Debbie joined Thomas Miller in 1986, and from 1994 spent 6 years on the OASIS claims handling project team alongside IT Support. Debbie became part of ERST in April 2001 and is now seconded to J1 to assist during the absence of Caroline Coutts on maternity leave. |

| | Alan Hedgeland (AFH) A master mariner with twenty years sea-going experience, Alan has sailed on tankers, ro-ros and container ships. He has a postgraduate degree in ocean resource management and joined Thomas Miller in 1986. He has particular expertise in oil pollution and tanker claims and has recently been concerned with members based in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and the Middle East. He now brings his P&I experience to the Japanese market. |

| | Maya Linkinoska (ML) Maya joined Thomas Miller in 2008 from a previous background of running the claims department of a major liner operator. She is now a full time claims handler for the Club's Members in Japan. She has a LLM in maritime law from the UK. |

| | David Perks (DWP) David joined Thomas Miller in 1990 from a commercial background, and has worked with the Japanese team since 2000, after a long career working with the Club's Greek Membership. In addition to his claims handing role, David also has specific responsibility for the development of the Club's Logistics Claims Handling systems and special service projects. |

| | John Savignon (JJS) John Savignon joined Thomas Miller in 1993 and has been a front line claims handler since 1997. He is responsible for the handling of claims for the Members based in Japan. |

| | Carol Snashall (CXS) Carol joined Thomas Miller in 1981 and is responsible for processing fees and claim reimbursement for the Japanese area group. She also provides administrative support to the team. |

| | Jacqueline Tan (JST) Jacqueline qualified as a barrister and later as a solicitor. She joined Thomas Miller in 1996 and now works exclusively with the Club's Members in Japan. She speaks Malay, French and Chinese. |
