The Club issues a series of Good Practice posters each year for use on board, illustrating good and bad operational practices as seen on Members' ships.

2008 posters published
Posters 112-135 focus heavily on passenger vessel operations. Although some posters in this set are applicable to all vessel types, most concern passenger areas on board. Members can download the 2008 set and browse all posters individually by clicking on the above button.

What are the Good/Bad Practice Posters?

The posters are designed to draw your attention to everyday occurrences, as witnessed primarily by the UK P&I Club ship inspectors. Some of the photos illustrated under the title "Bad Practice" are not necessarily bad, but when compared to the "Good Practice" photo, it is clear that improvements could and/or should be made. Conversely, some of them can be considered as "Bad Practice" and should clearly be discontinued.

The posters are produced in A4 size for convenience and for ease of reproduction. Below is a list of titles selected from the 2005 issue, available here for preview.
