ClaimsTracTM is a database of each Member's claims. It is accessible by any registered Member or his broker through the Club's website.
Naturally, Members will only have access to their own claims database. Instead of having to wait for claims records to be sent to them, Members and their brokers can now access them on-line whenever they wish.
Being electronic, the data is easy to analyse and to use. Data can be downloaded in CSV (comma separated value) format which can be viewed in Microsoft Excel.
Claims may be searched on by a number of ways, such as Member number or name, voyage number, file status and keyword search on titles.
Ships may be searched on by class of entry, ship or IMO number, ship name, Member number or name, on risk period, trade type, flag, gross tonnage and age.
It is possible to create your own claims report or choose one from the list of Standard Reports available e.g. Recent Claims or Claims Movements. All reports can be printed.
ClaimsTrac is driven by the Club’s OASIS claims handling system. This system was designed to handle all types of documents and transform them into electronic computer-based files. Any claim file is available within minutes to the Club’s claims executives for updating or progressing the file. In turn, Members can retrieve essential and up-to-date information on that claim immediately, at any time day or night.
